Wednesday Night Bible Study

10/21/2020 12:40 PM - 12:40 PM
Brighton Presbyterian Church
Phone:585-473-5876
Address: 1775 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14610, USA
2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Basement Hall (entrance is at the back near the laundromat). We have begun a new study on the book of Psalms (please park in the back behind the laundromat and enter through white side door–masks are required, and we can supply one if you forget to bring one).
The psalms are a treasured compilation of hymns and prayers used in worship for well over two millennia (the oldest psalm is #90, attributed to Moses; it is possibly 3,500 years old). We will look at their purpose, how they were compiled and intentionally arranged, the different types, etc., and how the Israelites used them.
All are welcome to attend!
