We gather for worship in the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:15 am.
You'll find we use a mix of hymns and contemporary worship songs and offer gospel-centered preaching and teaching. We have a time of prayer during the service, as well as opportunity for you to receive personal prayer at the close of the service.
Finding your way: We are located at 1775 East Ave in Rochester, directly across from the East Ave Wegmans. Please park in our front lot. Enter through the main red doors to our welcome center. You will be directed to seating by our greeters. For a fully accessible entrance, park at the back at the kitchen entrance: please ring the bell at that door. There is plenty of parking all around the building, including six accessible parking spots.
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
We are concerned for everyone's safety during this pandemic: please remain home if you have a fever or are not feeling well.
Please use hand sanitizer before entering the Sanctuary. In accordance with the latest CDC guidance, fully vaccinated members and visitors are no longer required to wear face coverings at Brighton Presbyterian Church. Face coverings and social distancing are strongly recommended for members and visitors who have not been fully vaccinated. You will be directed to seating by our greeters. After the service, please exit to the front lawn to greet others. Unfortunately, Fellowship Hour is suspended during the pandemic. We hope to resume it during Summer 2021!
Adult School of Discipleship: We meet in the Historical Room on Sundays from 10:45 am - 11:45 am after morning worship. All are welcome to join, even if you have not attended previous sessions.
Classes for children and teens: normally, from September - June, Sunday School for BPCKids (grades K-6) and BPCTeens (grades 7-12) occurs after the prayer portion of the worship service. BPCKids meet each Sunday in the Children's Room in the education wing on the second floor (the teacher will direct them). BPCTeens meet each Sunday-except the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday)-in the Historical Room, located just outside the Sanctuary.
